Sacramento County Superior Court - Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse

Civil Court Hours: Mondays through Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (excluding court holidays)

Criminal Hours: Mondays through Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.,  (excluding court holidays)

Trials and Hearings Heard at the downtown courthouse:
    General civil trials (excluding Unlawful Detainer cases, Small Claims cases, and family relations matters)
    Felony and misdemeanor trials (including criminal pretrial matters, DUI cases, and arraignments)
    General civil pretrial motions

Case Processing Support Services
    General civil support service, felony, and misdemeanor support services (filing of documents, payment of fees, review of files, and case processing)
    Accounting-related functions (returned checks, refunds, accounts payable for fines, fees, sanctions, services)


Parking: Metered parking is available on all streets surrounding the Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse (meters take only quarters). There are also a limited number of free two-hour street parking spaces available on D, E, and F Streets. In addition, the following public lots are available within walking distance.
